Where your chauffeur waits at Charles de Gaulle

CDG is three separate terminals spread over a large site, linked by the free CDGVAL shuttle train. Check your terminal on your ticket or airline app: it decides where your driver stands. The exact meeting point is written in your confirmation.

TerminalMain useWhere we meet you
Terminal 1The round concrete building; many international airlines outside the Air France groupIn the arrivals area of Terminal 1, after customs, with a name sign
Terminal 2A, 2CMostly long-haul and non-Schengen flightsArrivals exit of your hall (2A or 2C)
Terminal 2B, 2DMostly European flightsArrivals exit of your hall (2B or 2D)
Terminal 2E, 2FAir France and SkyTeam hub, long-haul (2E) and Schengen (2F)Arrivals exit of your hall (2E or 2F)
Terminal 2GRegional flights, reached by bus from 2FWe agree the point with you, as 2G arrivals are often routed through 2F
Terminal 3Charter and low-cost flights, next to the Roissypôle CDGVAL stationArrivals exit of Terminal 3

Airline and terminal assignments change: the airport operator, Paris Aéroport, publishes the current terminal for each airline and live arrivals. If your airline moves you, send us a WhatsApp message and your driver goes to the new hall.

Long-haul arrivals and passport control

If you arrive from outside the Schengen area, from the US, the UK, Canada, Asia or the Gulf, you go through border control before baggage claim. At busy times, mornings especially, this can take a while. Your chauffeur follows your flight number, so the pickup time adjusts to the real landing, and you do not need to rush. Waiting time included: [[À COMPLÉTER : durée d’attente incluse après atterrissage]].

How the meet and greet works step by step, at any airport or station, is explained on our page about meet and greet with your Paris chauffeur.

Which van for your CDG arrival?

After a long flight, the wrong vehicle is the worst start: suitcases on laps, a stroller that does not fit, or half the family in a second taxi. Choose by people and by bags.

Your group at CDGVehicle we suggestWhy
1 to 3 travellers, light luggageMercedes E-Class or S-ClassQuiet and quick for business arrivals
Family of 4 to 6 with long-haul suitcasesMercedes V-Class (7 seats)Seats to spare, so more room for bags behind
7 adults, or 8 travellersMercedes Vito (8 seats), or V-Class plus a sedanDepends on the number of large cases
9 to 21 travellersMercedes Sprinter (19, some 21 seats)One vehicle, one meeting point
More than 21, or several flightsSeveral Sprinters and vansVehicles sent to each flight or all together

For groups landing together, our Sprinter minibus with a chauffeur is usually the simplest choice. For a family, the Mercedes V-Class is the one most people book. Luggage space per vehicle: [[À COMPLÉTER : capacité bagages testée]]. Tell us your bags and we confirm before you pay.

Typical drives from Charles de Gaulle

Times are indicative. The A1 and A3 motorways into Paris are among the busiest roads in France, and weekday rush hours, Friday evenings and big events add time.

Straight to Disneyland

Many families never go into Paris: the park is east of CDG, and the drive is shorter than to the city centre. Seats for every child, a stroller in the back, and you are at your hotel before the little ones fall asleep. See our Disneyland Paris transfer page for hotels and return rides.

Changing airports

Flying on with a separate ticket from Orly? A direct van saves dragging bags through the RER and the Orlyval. Read about Orly pickups and drop-offs, and leave a safe margin between your two flights.

Versailles on the way in

Arriving early in the morning with a hotel check-in at 3 pm? Some families go to the palace first, with luggage locked in the van. Our Versailles day with a driver explains how it works.

Flying out of CDG

For departures, your driver collects you at the hotel lobby and drops you at your terminal’s departures level. Leave enough margin for check-in, security and, for non-Schengen flights, border exit control. Book the return CDG airport van transfer in the same form as your arrival.

CDG airport van transfer questions

Our group lands on two different flights. Can you handle that?

Yes. We can send one vehicle to each flight, or keep one van waiting for both if the landings are close. With 20 vans per category, timing the pickups separately is rarely a problem.

What if my bags are lost or delayed at CDG?

Message your driver on WhatsApp from the baggage hall. The driver stays informed while you fill in the lost luggage form at your airline’s desk.

Can the driver meet us at Terminal 2G?

Yes. Because 2G passengers usually arrive through Terminal 2F by shuttle bus, we confirm the exact meeting point with you in advance.

How do I know which CDG terminal I arrive at?

It is on your boarding pass, booking confirmation or airline app. If in doubt, add your flight number when you book: your driver checks the terminal on the day.

Can 20 people from one flight travel in the same vehicle?

Yes, in a Mercedes Sprinter with 19 seats, or one of our 21-seat Sprinters, if the luggage fits. Large groups with many suitcases may need a second vehicle; we tell you before you confirm.

Is a van transfer from CDG worth it compared with the RER B?

For one person with a backpack, the train is cheaper. For a family or group with suitcases, the train means stairs, crowded carriages and a change at Gare du Nord or Châtelet. A CDG airport van transfer goes from the terminal to your door.

Do you pick up at night?

Yes, for early-morning and late-evening flights. Tell us your flight time when you book.
