Why a minibus rather than cars or a coach
Between a few vans and a full coach, there is a gap. That is where most groups sit.
| Option for 18 people | What it means on the day |
|---|---|
| Five or six taxis | Several queues, cars arriving at different times, nobody sure who paid what |
| Three 7-seat vans | Comfortable, flexible if the group splits, three vehicles to coordinate |
| One Sprinter minibus | One vehicle, one meeting point, one chauffeur, everyone arrives together |
| One coach | More seats than needed, harder to stop in hotel streets and old town centres |
A Sprinter is the size of a large van, not a bus. It stops at hotel doors, enters most city streets and parks where a coach cannot. For a breakdown of every size we run, from 3 to 21 seats, see our planning guide for groups and families.
Twenty minibuses, sent together
Finding one minibus in Paris is easy; finding three identical ones for the same minute is not. We run 20 Mercedes Sprinters ourselves, alongside 20 V-Class and 20 Mercedes Vito. For a group of 60, that means three Sprinters leaving the same terminal at the same minute, with the same standard of vehicle and the same booking.
- Per minibus
- 19 seats, or 21 in some Sprinters
- Several groups
- Vehicles timed to different flights or venues
- VIPs
- Mercedes E-Class or S-Class alongside
- Luggage

What groups use our minibuses for
Airport transfers
A whole flight’s worth of guests from CDG or Orly. More on group arrivals at Charles de Gaulle.
Trade fairs and congresses
Hotel to Viparis venues such as Paris Nord Villepinte, Porte de Versailles or Le Bourget, every morning and evening of the show.
Cruise groups
Passengers from the same ship, between Le Havre and Paris. See Le Havre ship transfers.
Weddings and parties
Guests between hotel, ceremony and reception, with late returns.
Sports and school groups
Teams, kit and teachers together, with the minibus waiting during matches or visits.
Group day trips
Normandy, Champagne or Versailles for 19 people in one vehicle. See the D-Day day by minibus.
Agencies and organisers
Planning transport for clients rather than for yourself? Our page for travel agencies, DMCs and event planners explains run sheets, multi-vehicle programmes and invoicing.
Late nights and early mornings
Gala dinners end after midnight, and early flights leave before dawn. Our minibuses run at the hours your group needs, provided they are in the booking. For a wedding or a party, we can split the return into two waves: one Sprinter for those who leave early, another for those who stay until the end.
Minibuses for trade fairs and congresses
Paris hosts some of Europe’s largest trade fairs, and the venues are spread around the region. A Sprinter shuttle between your hotel and the exhibition hall saves your team the morning crush on the RER and the evening queue for taxis.
| Venue | Where | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Paris Nord Villepinte | North-east, near CDG | Easy to combine with exhibitors’ airport arrivals |
| Paris Expo Porte de Versailles | South-west edge of Paris | Close to the Left Bank hotels |
| Paris Le Bourget exhibition centre | North of Paris | Busy roads during major shows |
| Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot | West edge of Paris | Congresses and conferences, near La Défense |
During big shows, roads around the venues are congested at opening and closing times. We plan departures with a margin and can keep the same minibuses and drivers for the whole show.
Minibus with driver Paris: your questions
Is the driver included when I hire a minibus?
Yes, always. We do not rent vehicles without a driver. Every Sprinter comes with a professional chauffeur.
How do I get a 21-seat minibus rather than a 19-seat one?
Ask for it in your quote. Only some of our Sprinters are fitted with 21 seats, so we confirm availability for your date.
Can the minibus wait for us during an event or a visit?
Yes. Book it by the hour or for the day, and the driver waits near the venue, ready for the return.
Can children travel in the minibus with child seats?
Yes. Give us the ages and we fit the right seats, as many as needed.
We are 45 people. How many minibuses do we need?
Usually three Sprinters, depending on luggage and on whether some of you prefer a separate van. We propose the set-up in the quote.
Do you drive minibuses outside Paris?
Yes: day trips, cruise ports, other cities and long distance, including London. Ask for a quote with your route.
Can the group stop on the way?
Yes, if the stops are planned in the booking: a lunch break, a photo stop, a second hotel pickup.
