Orly is the closest major airport to central Paris, and the one most travellers know least. With an Orly airport van transfer, a private Mercedes van meets you at your Orly terminal and takes your family or group door to door, without the Orlyval, the metro or a queue for two taxis.

Orly 1, 2, 3 and 4: where your driver meets you
Orly used to have a South and a West terminal. Since 2019 they are numbered: Orly 1, 2 and 3 form one long building in the west, and Orly 4 is the former South terminal. A covered walkway links them. Your terminal number is on your booking and boarding pass, and the airport operator Paris Aéroport lists each airline and live arrivals.
| Terminal | Typical flights | Meeting point |
|---|---|---|
| Orly 1, 2, 3 | Many European, domestic and French overseas flights | Arrivals exit of your hall, with a name sign |
| Orly 4 | International and low-cost flights, some long-haul | Orly 4 arrivals area, with a name sign |
Airlines move between Orly terminals more often than people expect. If your gate or hall changes, message us on WhatsApp and your chauffeur follows. The exact meeting point is in your confirmation. Waiting time included: [[À COMPLÉTER]].
Why Orly suits families and groups
Orly sits right on the A6 and A106 motorways, close to the southern ring road. It is quicker to reach the Left Bank, Montparnasse, the 15th arrondissement or Saint-Germain from Orly than from CDG. And it is the natural airport for the river cruise quays at Grenelle and Javel, both on the south-west side of the city.
The new metro line 14 now reaches Orly, which is a good option for light travellers. With small children, a stroller and a week of suitcases, an Orly airport van transfer is still simpler: one lift into the boot, and you sit down.
Late arrivals and the Orly night curfew
Orly has a night curfew: scheduled flights do not take off or land between roughly 11:30 pm and 6 am. A delayed evening flight is therefore sometimes diverted to Charles de Gaulle. If that happens, message us: we redirect your chauffeur to the CDG terminal where you land, and your booking follows you.
Groups landing at Orly
Orly receives many charter and holiday flights, often with whole groups on board: sports clubs, school trips, pilgrimages, family celebrations. A 19 or 21-seat Sprinter waits for the group at the arrivals exit, with a V-Class for the overflow if the luggage needs it.

Early flights without the stress
Many Orly departures leave before 8 am, when public transport is thin and taxis are hard to find. Book your van the day before at the latest, and your chauffeur collects you at the hotel at the time we agree together, with the luggage loaded while you check out.
For groups, we line up the vehicles outside the hotel so everyone leaves at the same time and arrives at the same terminal. A Sprinter with 19 or 21 seats often replaces a convoy of cars.
Which vehicle from Orly?
| Group | Vehicle |

| Up to 3, light luggage | Mercedes E-Class or S-Class |
| Family of 4 to 7 | Mercedes V-Class |
| 8 travellers | Mercedes Vito (8 seats) |
| 9 to 21 | Mercedes Sprinter |
| Larger groups | Several vehicles, see groups and families |
Orly airport van transfer questions
Is Orly 4 the same as Orly South?
Yes. Orly 4 is the former South terminal (Orly Sud). Orly 1, 2 and 3 replaced the former West terminal (Orly Ouest).
Is Orly closer to Paris than CDG?
Yes, by about 10 km, and the drive to the Left Bank is usually shorter. Traffic on the A6 at rush hour can still slow things down.
We land at Orly and sail from Grenelle the same day. Is that realistic?
Often yes, because Orly is close to the quays. Check your boarding time and leave a margin for baggage claim. See our transfer to your river cruise ship page.
Can you pick us up at Orly at 6 am?
Yes, for arrivals and departures alike. Give us the flight time when you book.
Can we go from Orly to Disneyland without going through Paris?
Yes. The route runs east around the city via the A86 or the N104. More on van rides to Disneyland.
Our flight from Orly was cancelled. Can the van take us back?
Message us straight away. If a vehicle is available, we arrange a new ride to your hotel or another airport.
